 GPS speed sender has a watertight enclosure and can be mounted externally. It requires a clear line of sight to the sky and must not be obstructed by structures. The installation process involves wiring it to the vehicle's speedometer and choosing between 16,000 or 200,000 pulses per mile. It also features a special function that maintains the last known speed in case of loss of connection, which can be indicated by a flashing orange light. If troubleshooting is necessary, it is recommended to move the sender to a different location. The product comes with a 24-month warranty for defects.
