Hylomar M: High-Performance Non-Setting Gasketing Compound

Hylomar M is a highly-engineered, polyester-urethane based compound designed to be non-setting and non-hardening. Manufactured under license from Rolls Royce, this gasketing compound provides permanent sealing, even on parts subject to years of constant vibration, due to its elastic properties.

• High-Performance Sealing: Remains elastic and permanently seals parts under constant vibration.

• Fluid Resistance: Resistant to a wide range of fluids, including industrial fuels, oils, water, air, and various coolants.

• Temperature Range: Operates effectively from -58°F to +482°F.

• Adhesive Properties: Strong adhesion to surfaces with no dripping from vertical surfaces, yet allows for easy disassembly of components.

• Versatile Application: Can be used as a gasket dressing, a non-curing thread sealant, and for metal-to-metal and plastic-to-plastic applications.

• Gap Fill: Fills gaps of 0.1 - 0.15mm.

• Safe for Materials: Will not react with metal or other materials, including copper and silver.

• VOC Compliant: 50-state VOC compliant.

Instructions for Use:

1. Ensure joint faces are clean and dry.

2. Apply a thin, even film of Hylomar M to both faces.

3. Allow the solvent to evaporate.

4. Assemble the components. Immediate assembly is not required. Note: Re-torquing of assembled components may be necessary due to the non-setting nature of the compound.
