The IPD 82mm Competition Plenum for the Porsche 981 is engineered to maximize performance by replacing the factory 74mm throttle body with the larger 997 GT3 82mm throttle body (sold separately). Designed for both 3.4L “S” and 2.9L “Non-S” applications, this Competition Plenum improves airflow and throttle response, delivering noticeable gains in horsepower and torque throughout the rev range.

Featuring IPD’s patented dimpled interior, the plenum optimizes airflow by controlling boundary layers, reducing turbulence, and increasing intake efficiency. Power gains begin around 4,000 RPM, continue to redline, and are fully realized near 6,000 RPM, with improvements of approximately 20 wheel horsepower and 16 lb-ft of torque, staying above factory power curves at all times.

The package includes a custom IPD silicone hose to fit the larger 82mm throttle body and all necessary hardware for installation. Designed for road use, all IPD Plenums come with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects, with warranty coverage void if used off-road or on race tracks.
