The OE Porsche 911 964/993 chain box covers/lids, like many of the early cast covers, can can susceptible to corrosion and leaks over time. Our 6061 billet aluminum 964/993 chain box covers/lids are a direct factory fit to replace the OE covers and are machined to accept factory hardware and gaskets. The machine work, black anodizing, and gasket fitment provides a level of fit and finish above that of the factory cast pieces while staying true to factory part for those wanting a billet part that looks as close to factory as possible. Fits 1989-1998 Porsche 3.6 964 and 993 3.6 and 3.8 engines and are direct replacements for P/N's 96410510801 (passenger/right side) and 96410510701 (driver/left side) and are designed to use gasket part number 96410518101. Machined in the USA right here in Momence, IL by our skilled CNC machinists. Kit includes chain box cover parts numbers 96410510701LN and 96410510801LN. Gaskets optional.
