Porsche 102.70mm 996/997 GT3 Machine-In Nickies Mezger Sleeves Aluminum 108-102-7
Porsche LN Engineering's billet aluminum Nickies sleeves optimized design provide superior strength and cooling over the factory cast aluminum Nikasil plated sleeve. Typical specifications for our proprietary alloy provides 50-60% improvement with a similar increase in thermal conductivity over the stock 100mm cast aluminum sleeve.
When Porsche increased the bore size larger than 100mm, they switched to Nikasil plated steel sleeves which have significantly lower thermal conductivity. Our machine-in Mezger cylinder liners use the registers of the steel 105.4mm sleeves, but are made out of billet aluminum for increased strength and cooling over factory steel cylinder liners.
The water jacket and case both need to be machined to accept the 108-102.7 Nickies Mezger sleeves.
Requires the use of factory 102.7mm head gaskets or custom Cometic head gaskets (both sold separately).
