Porsche Balance Beam Brake System 911 SC RS 1,07300B-neu
Porsche In contrast to the balance beam brake system of the 2.8 and 3.0 RSR, which required a change to the floor panel, a balance beam brake system was developed and installed at the factory on the 911 SC RS, which could be exchanged for the original pedals without any further changes to the body. We have reissued this motorsport accessory, which has not been available for many years, with the proviso that we do not have to make any changes to the vehicle. The balance beam brake system is supplied complete with pedals and enables the precise distribution of the braking force between the front and rear axles by adjusting the balance beam. This enables maximum braking performance of the entire vehicle. The use of brake calipers that have different piston diameters or different brake pad surfaces requires a different setting of the braking force distribution. Different diameters of the brake discs also change the braking force of the respective axle, so that a balance beam brake system should be installed for any modifications to the brake system. Last but not least, a "soft" brake pedal, which inevitably occurs when the piston diameter on the brake caliper is increased, is completely prevented by installing a balance beam brake system, which, due to its design, works with two master brake cylinders mounted in parallel. The brake system also requires a mounting kit, which includes two brake fluid containers.
