These pins manage braking loads while allowing axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are securely fastened with grade 12 cap screws and hardened washers. To prevent cold-start noise, anti-noise spring washers are integrated on the rotor side of the pins, accommodating thermal expansion while eliminating the rattling commonly associated with floating rotors. This floating design also enables the rotor to self-center between the brake pads for even wear.
