This rebuilt OEM Bosch CDI ignition control box has 1 year service warranty. Core unit cannot be water or fire damaged and must be a Bosch unit. It fits 911 and 930 (1969-1977) models.
Common Symptoms of a Bad Porsche 911 CD Box:
- Car will not start
- Stalls out in High Temperature
- No Power to Ignition Coil
- Fluctuating Tachometer
Upon arrival we will be disassemble, diagnose and repair the unit, bead-blast and re-label the outer case to give close to an as-new appearance as possible. Generally, units are sent in because they have already failed, or are suspect but it is certainly not necessary to wait for any issues to appear before sending the unit in. These units are ~40 years old and even when still functional, they often have degraded output power, behave intermittently, or die spontaneously.
