Professional installation is simple and reversible, as the cubby/pocket can be mounted using the standard ashtray spots without any alterations. This high-quality part is manufactured with PA12 Nylon, which provides great heat and chemical resistance, making it strong and durable. The steps for installation are the same for all accessories in this series. You can refer to the included photos for a double gauge mount, but the process remains consistent. To install, remove the passenger side knee pad/trim (using 2x10mm nuts) and ashtray (using an additional 2x10mm nuts), then reuse these nuts and washers to secure the accessory. There is a small amount of adjustability to accommodate variations in old car interiors, making it easy to achieve equal gaps between the left and right knee trim/pad. Finally, install the passenger knee pad/trim.
