Porsche Lite Engine Block Reconditioning No Pistons or Rings Included - Cayenne
Porsche The Nickies Lite process is offered for limited engines where serious cylinder issues are less prevalent as an economical alternative to conventional block sleeving. The cylinders are over-bored, plated, and honed back to the original nominal bore size, resulting in a hard, low friction wear resistant surface. A 1mm overbore allows us to bore past deep bore scoring before plating and honing to a finish bore size of 97mm (1mm over the original 96mm bore size). Direct plating of the bores provides a superior option to steel or iron sleeving that reduce engine cooling and performance by retaining its original all aluminum construction. Surface grinding of deck extra; no warranty on oversized direct plated blocks.
