Porsche Rebuilding your 996 or Boxster engine? New injectors are a must, especially if the engine suffered bore scoring. We have found bad that bad fuel injectors are a leading cause of bore scoring and can cause damage to your new engine.

Even if you are not rebuilding your engine and it may seem to be running fine, it's important to check fuel trims to ensure your engine isn't running overly rich and washing the cylinder bores down that can damage your cylinders and piston rings.

From what we have seen, ethanol fuels damaging injectors causing them to leak so cleaning and testing your fuel injectors are no longer an acceptable option as we've seen injectors tested as good fail in short order. With genuine Porsche injectors going up in price and the OEM Bosch injectors regularly unavailable, we have sourced an aftermarket injector that Flat 6 Innovations uses and has tested to be 100% compatible with the original injector. Like the Bosch injectors, these replacement injectors are also made in China.
