LN Engineering's billet aluminum Nickies sleeves optimized design provide superior strength and cooling over factory cast aluminum Nikasil plated sleeves. Paired with a set of custom forged 2618 alloy JE Pistons, our machine-in Porsche 911 996/997TT Turbo 102mm Nickies nickel silicon carbide plated aluminum sleeves and matching piston sets are an alternative to expensive Genuine Porsche factory replacement cylinder and piston kits and are suitable for both street and track use.

Provides an increase in displacement from 3.6 to 3.8 liters with no loss of strength or cooling while retaining the stock crankshaft and connecting rods.

When Porsche increased the bore size larger than 100mm, they switched to Nikasil plated steel sleeves which have significantly lower thermal conductivity. Our machine-in Mezger cylinder liners use the registers of the steel 105.4mm sleeves, but are made out of billet aluminum for increased strength and cooling over factory steel cylinder liners.

The water jacket and case both need to be machined to accept the 108-102 Nickies Mezger sleeves.

Requires the use of factory 102.7mm head gaskets or custom Cometic head gaskets (both sold separately).
