Porsche The Flat 6 Innovations Billet Aluminum Hard Anodized M96/M97 Underdrive Crankshaft Pulley manufactured by LN Engineering offers increased horsepower and torque by reducing parasitic losses by slowing down the belt driven accessories. The smaller diameter provides sufficient speed at idle to allow the alternator, power steering, and water pump to operate properly with no ill effects caused by other underdrive pulleys that have further reduced diameters. The design mirrors the original factory pulley for superior strength and durability compared to lighter pulleys that can crack and fail. Our billet underdrive pulley is recommended for all 1997 through 2008 Porsche Boxster, Cayman, and 911 models with the M96 or M97 engine and is a must for all cars that are going to see track use. Not recommended for the 05-08 Porsche 911 3.8 S model with factory harmonic dampening crankshaft pulley. Not compatible GT3, Turbo, or GT2 models.
